Word Poem: re·charge (Summer Solstice special)

This weekend is a weekend of celebrations. We started the long weekend by honoring the US federal holiday of Juneteenth. Then we all must go outside in some capacity to celebrate the longest day of the year, Summer Solstice. There are multiple holidays celebrated worldwide for the Solstice, such as Swedish Midsummer. 🐻

Whether you have a little or a lot of work to do today, remember to take time to:

recharge | recharge rē- chärj
Verb

  1. To regain energy and strength.
  2. To refill with electric charge (as in an electronic device or battery)
  3. To rest and relax for a period of time so that you feel whole again.
  4. To take a break from a trigger until you feel like yourself again.
  5. To recognize when you need to pause in order to regain your energy and strength alone through self-care before you give your best self to your loved ones.
